ABUS 82ti/70 Titalium Shutter Lock

The ABUS 82TI/70 Titalium Shutter Lock brings the strength of a traditional warehouse/block lock but in a significantly lighter TITALIUM body. Designed with a 12mm hardened special alloy shackle bar, it delivers impressive resistance to cutting, cropping and leverage attacks while benefitting from the corrosion-resistant TITALIUM casing.

Shutter padlocks, also known as block locks or straight-shackle padlocks, are ideal for roller shutters, warehouse doors, gates and security chains. The 82TI/70 offers a strong security-to-value ratio and is suitable for demanding commercial environments without the weight or higher cost of solid brass or steel variants.

Despite the narrow clearance, chains can be used by looping one end link through another, allowing a single link to be secured directly to the bar.
Important note: The keyway and shackle bar sit on opposite sides of the body. This can be a limitation for tight lock boxes or enclosed container fittings. In those cases, the ABUS 92 Series may be more suitable, as the keyway and shackle extrusion are on the same side.

This model has not yet been formally tested for CEN certification, but it is built to the same specification as other ABUS shutter locks that achieve CEN Grade 3, making it a reliable choice for medium-to-high security applications.
