Ingersoll Enclosed Impregnable Padlock

The Ingersoll CS700 is the most secure padlock in the legendary Impregnable range. First introduced in the early 1970s and still manufactured in England today, it uses traditional, high-precision engineering that has made Ingersoll a benchmark for high-security padlocks.

This model features an extra-closed shackle design: the hardened steel body extends upwards to create a virtually complete enclosure around the shackle. Only a minimal opening remains just enough for the locking point making access with bolt cutters, saws or levers effectively impossible.

Because of this unique construction, the CS700 generally requires a bespoke hasp or latch designed around the padlock, which is why it has long been used in specialist and military applications. Its use by NATO (NSN 5340-99-766-2572) is a testament to its reliability and resilience.

The internal mechanism uses 10 precision-cut levers double the number required for UK-rated lever padlocks making the lock extremely resistant to picking or manipulation. The body and shackle are hardened and finished with a nickel-chrome coating for weather resistance and long-term durability.

Supplied with three keys and available in keyed alike or keyed different formats.
