xThe Kasp 450 Series Security Chain and Padlock Set pairs a hardened square section steel chain with a matched padlock, sold as a ready-to-use security solution. The 450 Series chain features hardened steel square links with extra strong welds, offering a high level of resistance to cropping and sawing. A durable fabric sleeve protects paintwork from accidental damage and carries embroidered Kasp branding — it will not rub off or transfer colour onto bikes, gates or paintwork.
Square section links resist bolt cutter attack more effectively than round section alternatives, and induction welded construction increases resistance to torsion and pull attacks. Three size options are available to suit the level of security and reach required. The 6 x 850mm set pairs a 6mm hardened boron steel chain with a 40mm weather-resistant laminated steel padlock with a 7.1mm shackle — a practical choice for general-purpose use. The 8 x 1100mm set steps up to an 8mm chain with a weatherproof padlock featuring a 12mm thick shackle, offering more resistance for higher-value property. The 10 x 1100mm set is the heaviest option in this range, suited to motorcycles, machinery and locations where a greater chain length and gauge are needed.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
